Substance Abuse Awareness Posters of Two ICHS to be Displayed on Billboard

(April 19, 2018) The high school's Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) recently held a Substance Abuse Awareness Poster Contest for the high school. The first winner is 11th grader Erika Neale. Her poster will be displayed for the Month of May. The other winner is 12th grader Karina Kolb-Speer. Her poster will be displayed for the month of June. Safety Efforts Earn Ichabod Crane Highest Level Safety Excellence Award

(April 13, 2018) The Utica National Insurance Company has recognized Ichabod Crane CSD’s safety efforts for another year with its Safety Excellence Award. Middle School Team Competes in NYS Odyssey of the Mind Tournament

Ichabod Crane to Host All County Music Festival April 12 & 13

Public Concert April 13, 7:30 p.m.
(April 2, 2018) Students from Ichabod Crane District-wide Music Department have been selected to participate in the final of three Columbia County Music Educators Association (CCMEA) All County Festivals. This All County Music Festival, which will be hosted by the Ichabod Crane Central School District on Thursday, April 12 and Friday, April 13, include Elementary Chorus, Junior Band and Senior Chorus. The all county experience culminates in a concert in the Ichabod Crane High School Auditorium on Friday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open to the public at 7:00 p.m. This event is free. Elementary School Raises Over $10,000 for American Heart Association

(April 2, 2018) Ichabod Crane Elementary School concluded its Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser for the American Heart Association with an assembly on March 28. Physical education teacher Mr. Vooris announced the school raised $10,174 crushing last year by $3,000! Learn More


Nominating Petitions to Run for Three Seats on Board of Education Due By April 16 at 5 PM

(March 29, 2018) Ichabod Crane Central School District announces petitions for candidates for the Board of Education are currently available. Petitions are obtained through the District Clerk, Mindy Potts, in the Central Office, located in the High School Building, 2910 Route 9, Valatie. Three vacancies are to be filled on the Board of Education. The three vacancies are for three-year terms as the terms of John Antalek, Brendan Caluneo and Regina Rose will expire June 30, 2018. Completed petitions are due back to the District Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018.

'We Go Together' Family Variety Show April 27

(March 27, 2018) The 8th annual 'We Go Together' family variety show is scheduled for Friday, April 27, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The show is made up of various acts performed by students and family members. It is open to students in grades K-12. In addition to the family acts, the locally famous “Teacher Act” adds to the fun and variety of the show. The “We Go Together” band, made up of teachers, students, and parents also performs each year. Ticket order forms will go home with students the week of April 9th. We Go Together is sponsored by TEMPO.
