ICHS Announces February Rider of the Month Students

(March 22, 2018) Every month, Ichabod Crane High School honors students who demonstrate our school district’s mission and community values. These students have been recognized by high school teachers and staff for exemplifying what it means to be an Ichabod Crane Rider. They exhibit all-around good character, morals and demonstrate Rider values and Rider pride in the classroom, in sports, arts, music, volunteering in the Pre-K classroom and in the community.

Students receive a certificate, a letter from Congressman Faso and an ice cream coupon donated by Stewarts.

We are pleased to announce the following as Rider of the Month students for February:


Isabella Milazzo

Isabella is a quiet student who works hard and tries to do her best. She is especially kind and accepting of others. Isabella willingly works with peers that often have trouble working with others. Students who often shut others out will open up to Isabella. That says a lot about the kind of person she is!








Cali Ringwood

Cali Ringwood

Cali is very patient and kind in helping other students. Always positive, we look forward to having her in class each day. Cali is a successful student-athlete.








Madison Landry
Madison Landry

Madison is a friendly, kind, and hard working student. He makes valuable contributions to class discussions. Madison always has a positive and respectful attitude and is willing to help others- adults and peers.








Richard Bandura
Richard Bandura

Richard is a pleasure to have in class. He is hardworking and willing to go the extra mile without being asked. He is an excellent role model for his peers.







Zack Friss

Zack is always goes to class ready to work. He is a positive force with underclassmen, trying to instill the importance of good work habits and respect for teachers.

Ian Quade

Ian is a polite, personable young man. Ian is a hard working student who consistently completes his class work and homework to the best of his ability. Ian participates frequently in class and sets a positive example for his peers. He is an absolute pleasure to have in class.



Adam RivenburghAdam Rivenburgh

Over the years, Adam has become a very thoughtful, helpful person who has gone out of his way to be friendly with students who have had a challenging time adjusting to school. He also recognizes when students are being unreasonable with teachers and has intervened when his peers are being disruptive. Adam realizes that teachers are here to help students, and has developed an appreciation for the staff at ICC. And-Adam was the only one in Photography who remembered the elements and principles of the camera from last year!




Habib Affinnih

Time and time again, Habib proves that he is a person who is kind, genuine, dedicated to helping others and overall a great person. Habib leads by example in school by working hard in class, helping others when needed and trying his very best. He also volunteers his time with Interact Club in order to help his community. On the Track team, Habib is a natural leader who is a role model for his teammates. Habib is a great example of an Ichabod Crane Rider and someone who will be missed when he graduates!
