Spelling Words

    Each week we will have 10 spelling words and 3 "star words" (or challenge words).  Spelling words are based on common word families (words that share the same rime or "chunk"- for example "at words".)  Children will be introduced to the words on Monday, practice them throughout the week (both at school and home), and will be tested on them Friday.  Please see your Frog binder for fun ideas to practice your spelling words at home.
