Academic Eligibility
You will be checked for academic standing each interim and quarter. If you are failing one or more subjects, a letter will be sent home notifying you of academic probation for peer mediation. You can still participate in mediations as long as you attend homework center twice a week for a period of five weeks. Failure to attend homework center requires your suspension from mediations.
If after the five weeks of your probation period you are still failing that subject or any other subjects, you will be suspended from mediations. You will have another five weeks to get your grades up and then you can return to the list of available mediators.
This has been dictated by the school board and is required of all extra curricular activities.
